Now, without further ado, let’s get into some Marketing Waffle!
The short of it.
Do you like short-form video content? Of course you do - you do marketing for a living and have become a slave to the latest features and algorithms on social platforms. Joking aside, creating these videos has always intrigued me, in particular, YouTube shorts.
Millions upon millions of views and, what appears to be, an incredibly high engagement rate to gain subscribers per thousand views (bit of light reading gets me to a figure near 1% of views converting to subscribers, which is very strong).
So it got me thinking…

Why don’t I do this?
So with a few bucks burning a hole in my pocket, and a plethora of freelancers to hand, I’ve reached out to a selection of content creators to make me YouTube Shorts. 100 of them. That’s right, I’m going to be plugging away at this idea for nearly 100 days to just see what can be achieved with a bit of grey matter, and an idea.
I’ll be sharing the results, so you don’t have to spend a single penny of your marketing budgets to figure out if they’re effective or not!
